Need a document notarized? Same day appointments available!
Q: Do you offer mobile notary services near me?
A: Yes. Golden Heart Notary is a mobile notary serving San Francisco and the Bay Area, including neighborhoods like Visitacion Valley and Bayview. I come to your home, office, hospital or care facility, or a public spot like a coffee shop. For hospital and care facility signings, the signer must be alert, aware, and signing willingly — I'm required to verify that before we proceed. Call or text 415-305-3434 to schedule.
Q: Are you available evenings, weekends, or same-day?
A: Yes. I offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and I keep room in my schedule for urgent and same-day requests. Call or text 415-305-3434 and I'll do my best to fit you in.
Q: What types of documents can you notarize?
A: Financial and health care powers of attorney, wills, trusts, advance health care directives, deeds and real estate documents, affidavits, loan signing documents, oaths and affirmations, and more. If you're unsure whether your document qualifies, just ask.
Q: What do I need to bring to my appointment?
A: A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID), with a name matching the documents being signed. California law requires valid, unexpired ID, but there are exceptions — such as using credible witnesses — so reach out if your ID has expired.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: The notary fee is $15 per notarized signature (set by California law), plus a mobile travel fee based on your location. I'll always confirm the total before we meet.
Q: Do you charge extra for evenings or weekends?
A: Yes, A small rush fee may apply for urgent after-hours requests.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, debit/credit card, Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo.
Q: Do you provide document preparation or legal advice?
A: No. I'm a notary public, not an attorney, so I can't prepare documents or give legal advice. I verify your identity, witness your signature, and make sure the notarization is done properly.
Q: Can you notarize documents for someone who doesn't speak English?
A: The signer must be able to communicate with me directly in a language we both understand. If translation is needed, a bilingual notary may be required.
Q: Can you notarize remotely or online?
A: Not yet. California notaries can't perform remote online notarizations until the state's program launches (currently expected around 2030), so all signings are done in person. If you need an online notarization, an out-of-state notary in a state that allows it may be an option.
